Free Hugs Scotland Video
Not all free things are equal. There are things in life that are free. The air we breathe, the beauty around us, some museums and zoos, smiles, and hugs just to name a few. These things can be taken at face value, and appreciated. They are truly free. There are other things which pretend to be free, but when you start checking into it there is a cost. The cost is either purchasing a product so you can get the free item or it may be that the cost part is legal in nature.
In surfing the Web, I did find a
free paycheck calculator. There is a salary paycheck calculator, an hourly paycheck calculator
and a net-to-gross paycheck calculator. These free calculators are a great way to get a ball park idea of
what your pay would be after deductions were made, but remember, this is only an estimate. At the bottom of
each calculator page, you will see the following warning:
Important Information The calculator that is provided on this web site is only meant to
provide general guidance and estimates about the payroll process. It should not be relied upon
to calculate exact taxes, payroll or other financial data. It may not match your PayCycle results
precisely and is not intended to provide tax or legal advice. You should consult with a
professional advisor or accountant concerning your specific concerns.
Calculating payroll is serious business both for the employer and the employee. It is important that the employer be aware of the deductions that are required by law. It is important that the employee be honest about exemptions that he/she is claiming. If you use a free calculator and take those numbers to create your payroll, you run a very real risk of not getting the correct numbers and then you can get yourself and your employees in trouble with the IRS or with your State Income Tax Department. This can lead to penalties, fines, and even jail time. There are places to cut corners, and there are places where you shouldn't. This is one of those areas, where it is best to either purchase a reliable business software program that will address your payroll and other book keeping needs or to hire a professional to handle these matters for you. This will free you up to concentrate on the part of your business that you do best and it will free you up from worry that you aren't doing the payroll correctly.
